This is a vintage BERLINER VERKEHRS BETRIEBE 9.5” Collectors Plate of a ANNO 1928 yellow Subway Rail Car. BERLINER VERKEHRS BETRIEBE is the main public transportation company of Berlin, Germany and has been since 1928. Presumably, this came from Germany but since this was an estate sale find, I do not know for certain. There are no makers marks on the back of the plate. It’s in very good condition. No chips cracks or breaks. There is some light wear on the gold gilded edges. It has a wall hanger glued to the back.
