Beautifully aesthetic, self standing floral cluster of light pink Mangano calcite crystal from Pachapaqui in Ancash, Peru. A high quality, collector's grade display specimen of beautiful manganoan calcite. The fully natural, raw piece features a detailed cluster of calcite crystals that form perfect rosette flower shapes. The icy pale pink (rich in the mineral manganese) calcite has a lustrous pearly sheen. It is highly UV fluorescent and glows a bright neon pink and vivid neon orange under short and long wave UV lighting. An uncommon Peruvian find in this form! The unique specimen is also a cast, likely once over fluorite and so the backside has the shape of the prior fluorite that the calcite formed on top of. The specimen makes an excellent display piece measuring approx 5 by 4 by 3.5cm.
