This is a vintage mechanical lady watch from the 60s. Its origins are rather unusual in that the Vantage Watch Co. was purchased by the Hamilton Watch Co. to be a leader watch to compete with the likes of Timex and the Bulova Caravelle line of watches. Hamilton also purchased ST movements, in this case the ST482 which was a 17jewel entry Swiss movement made by FHF model 69 with a full pallet lever and shock protected balance. It also has a center second hand driven by a unique bridge over bridge 4th wheel pinion. Research says that Vantage used cheap pinlever movement however this little beauty does not. The chromed round case measures 28mm in diameter and sports a perfect domed crystal. The dial is a radiant sunburst silver style with large black markers and a red sweep second hand. The movement works fine but does seem to run a little fast and may need a servicing. The straps are genuine soft padded black leather and will fit up to a 7 1/4" wrist. It also looks like new when wearing
