This is is a Vintage Multi-Strand Aurora Borealis Crystal Bead Necklace. It is a vintage necklace, specifically a multi-strand beaded necklace.
The beads are clear, faceted crystals, often referred to as glass beads, and feature an "Aurora Borealis" (AB) finish. This finish gives the beads an iridescent quality, reflecting a spectrum of colors. The necklace features graduated bead sizes, with larger beads in the center and smaller ones towards the clasp, and is secured with a hook-and-bead chain with a rhinestone-embellished clasp. These types of necklaces, particularly with the Aurora Borealis finish, were popular in the mid-20th century, notably from the 1950s to 1960s. It is 17” with the extender.
