Chuck E. Cheese started making dated video arcade tokens in 1977 and has made a HUGE number of different tokens since then (see www.arcadetokens.net/cec/CEC.html for a listing of known tokens). After 2016 they mostly changed to cards, and now only a few games in some locations still use tokens. In addition to the “standard” tokens that only show the year, for a few years CEC also made “local” tokens which included the city and state. These local tokens were made in much smaller quantities and are much harder to find than the standard tokens that only show the year. 25mm brass.
