I found these coins Blackwater Diving on the South Santee River in Charleston, South Carolina. This river was the main trading port to Jamestown back in the day and assume these coins were part of some trade deal back then but really have no idea how they got there. Several Civil War artifacts were also recovered from the same location including a boot pistol, timble, lead bullets and 1700's Silver Wine Label. Definitely a RARE FIND! Amazing how coins travel :)
