The Pool Rx Blue Booster is an EPA Registered, NSF/ANSI 50 Certified, algaecide that supports 7.5K-20K gallons water.
Pool Rx eliminates existing algae fast and prevents algae from coming back. The chelated minerals free up low levels of chlorine to be more productive in the water, providing amazing clarity. The minerals dissolve out of the pool unit completely and immediately to form a stable residual throughout the entire body of water. As the minerals pass over the Pool Rx pool unit during circulation, they are rejuvenated to last longer.
The Pool Rx booster contains the additional granular needed to replace minerals that are lost through back wash, splash out and algae kill. Pool Rx booster minerals can also be used for larger pools that need additional minerals when initially installing a Pool Rx pool unit. The booster must be used with your previously purchased Pool Rx pool unit. The booster minerals do not need to go back into the Pool Rx pool unit; they just need to dissolve
