Hard to find White body sleeve with even rarer red cap
This pencil is from the 1938 "Andover" line by Rite-Rite. Described by Rite-Rite in their 1938 catalog as a featherweight pencil that features a simple positive action ensuring tight-fitting leads. Octagon barrel, finished in a wide assortment of plain and two-color stripes. Adjustable clip. Red cap covers replaceable eraser. Magazine for extra leads. Advertising reads; CAREY'S SALT
Pencil works, and does have lead in it. No rubber in eraser cap.
