Set of four very nice vintage 1950 to 1962. Tiffin Franciscan King's crown Ruby red flashed Claret wine glassware set. Colony Glass, Tiffin Glass, and Indiana Glassware have all received credit for this lovely thumbprint pattern. What seems to be a defining factor is that most King Crown ware collected today was made by the Indiana Glass Company. Or the United States Glass Company of Tiffin Ohio. According to an Internet search of the history. Tiffin King Crown is distinguished by its Oval thumbprints. Flared top rim. And flash decoration, while Indiana pieces have round thumbprints and straight solid colored glass tops. These goblets are 5 5/8 inches tall and hold around 8 ounces comfortably. There are no chips or nicks. The reflection of light in the photo is indicative of the glossy finish. Condition: These goblets are in amazing condition for their years. There is no loss of red color and they have no chips, cracks nicks ect. Excellent pre loved condition. Non smoking pet free home
