The BMW i8 was the only F series car to receive black RES & MODE steering wheel buttons. The only way to retrofit them to your F series BMW before was to purchase an i8 Steering wheel button harness dismantle it and take the buttons from it to swap into your button set. These Buttons replace the silver plastic buttons that all F series with ///M & M-Sport steering wheels have with black for a sleek modern look while retaining an OEM+ appearance.
Electroplated with the same slightly textured black finish, then a laser is used to mark the text, resulting in OEM illumination backlit text just like OEM.
