This listing is for a gorgeous vintage brooch by San Francisco designer Jan Michaels. The design of this brooch has strong geometric elements, but also some lovely detailing in the form of articulated links, and to some degree is reminiscent of the Art Deco style. The brooch measures roughly 2" in height and 3 1/2" in width. It appears to made either of brass or bronze.
The piece is in good vintage condition, but by no means is it perfect. There is some surface patina (which I prefer :-) ) and very slight surface wear.
