Its hard to explain this dress in photos. This belong to a friend who was a dancer, tango, and such. There is a panel that is attached to the body of the ski skirt part, but it is almost like a wrapped dress, but its not meant to be wrapped you hold that end when you dance around , think of flamenco. Or if you dont wanna hold that end, it also just hangs and makes the skirt look more full.
The front is interesting as well as the large waist area area is asymmetrical, also lending to the look of of it being a wrap dress, but it is not a wrap dress. It is a regular dress with a side zipper. The zipper is metal so that pre-dates it from before 1960..
I dont know what fabric this is not itchy polyester, but it is very dense. Quite heavy and hangs really well, nice and drape. The sleeves are three-quarter.
