Here is an exquisite one of a kind example of an Ermanno Nason for Cenedese, scavo glass Bactrian camel, produced between 1963- 1972. Hand blown/worked on the island of Murano by the Gino Cenedese Vetri Co.. This piece is unmarked and has no damage. Close approximate measurements are: 7 1/4” L. X 5 1/2” W. X 2 3/4” D.. Weighs 2.9 lbs.
In 1993, a devastating fire destroyed both Ermanno Nason’s factory and many works of inestimable value and Ermanno Nason was forced to abandon the art of glassmaking. This one event, alone caused Nason’s works to increase in value. Until his death in 2013, he devoted his time to painting.
