It was formed from a merger between Security Trust and Savings Bank and Los Angeles-First National Bank in 1929. In 1968, it merged with Pacific National Bank of San Francisco to form Security Pacific National Bank. Ultimately, Security Pacific was acquired by BankAmerica in 1992. ."
