MINT CONDITION (no chips, cracks, or repairs; glaze and relief are crisp)

This is a highly collectible Rookwood Pottery stoneware mug/stein featuring a relief design of a craftsman at work, finished in a rich matte green glaze.

Why is this one special?
▪︎Unlike standard production pieces, this example is both artist-marked and hand-signed by George Hibben, Rookwood’s longtime historian and decorator.
▪︎Hibben’s impressed GH mark appears on the base, and his full autograph is written in marker — a VERY RARE combination, almost NEVER seen on open-market mugs.

▪︎Maker: Rookwood Pottery (Cincinnati, Ohio)
▪︎Date: 1998 (Roman numerals MCMXCVIII)
▪︎Shape number: 10136
▪︎Markings: Rookwood sunburst logo, impressed GH (George Hibben), date code
▪︎Signature: Hand-signed “George Hibben” — exceptionally scarce

Collector Value:
★Hand-signed George Hibben mugs like this: $200–300+ (rare to market)

▪︎Unsigned GH mugs: $40–75
