Vintage Blue Willow Divided Plate/Grill Plate, 10.25” Royal Sebring, OH, USA, discontinued.
An unmarked plate but design comparisons point to Royal China.
The Blue Willow pattern, known for its iconic blue&white design, features a scenic depiction of pagodas, a weeping willow tree, a boat on a lake, and two birds in flight, often with a bridge and figures.
While based on traditional Chinese designs, the Blue Willow pattern is an English creation, believed to have originated in the late 1700s. The pattern has a popular legend associated with it, telling a story of forbidden love.
In great condition with no chips or cracks. One extra blue dot on rim from manufacturer. Glossy and bright, not much wear at all. Fun to collect and use!
