Very old metal US military helmet, exterior painted brown at some point, has USMC emblem on front secured inside(pictured). M1917 helmet used from WW1 to some in early WW2. Inside very pitted & worn, canvas liner that is still there is dilapidated & dry rotted with rusty attachment points. The 6 attachment points are shown on exterior also. No chin strap. "US GOV PROPERTY OCD" still evident on inside rim.
