Bubinga and Ceramic Lamp

These lamps are small with a minimal design. These would be a great desk lamp or an accent lamp. It can go on a side table or a hallway. These lamps are turned out of exotic wood from all over the world. Each block of wood takes two hours to turn. The lighting fixture is made of ceramic. The plug and chord measure sixty-four inches long from the plug to the base of the lamp. I think there is something classic about a pull chain to turn lamps on and off. I take these lamps a step further by turning a small decorative pull to complement each lamp I make. These lamps are perfect for the trendy Edison bulbs. The lamps stand four inches tall, but with the bulb they stand eight inches tall. This wood is called bubinga. This is a wood from Africa. It also goes by African rosewood. This wood is a dense hardwood with a rich grain with lots of color. The pull was turned out of the same wood, but a different blank. This really brings out the range of colors this wood can have.
